Need HELP Deciding!!!
Here's my hideous dilemma. I bought a 2 year warranty package with my kids Xbox. This means when the XBox 360 comes out I can trade in the current XBox and almost get the new XBox for half price.
I also have the PS2. I've had NCAA 2004 and 2005 for the PS2. I like the PS2 controller for the games. I am aware of the load time and hard drive advantages for the XBox. I will NEVER play online. I would probably get NCAA 2006 for the XBox but my ONLY CONCERN is backward compatability. If I get the new XBox this year and it won't play 2006 I'm screwed. That's why I'm leaning toward getting it for PS2. Any suggestions? Thanks |
Re: Need HELP Deciding!!!
From what I understand, the 360 will NOT play regular XBox games. They have to be re-compiled to work on the new system. So maybe that will influence your decision..

Re: Need HELP Deciding!!!
Xbox 360 was confirmed to have backward compatibility at E3.

Xbox360 will play some older games, but not others. At least that's what I've read.
Of course they aren't listing what games will be backward compatible because I don't think they know at this point. |
Re: Need HELP Deciding!!!
all the newer games will be able to be played on the 360. ncaa will work on a 360, and i bet you can import a draft class from ncaa to madden 360.

Re: Need HELP Deciding!!!
Yea when I called and found a copy (In MD) of NCAA last night I had them hold the XBOX copy, but when I got there I asked if they had the PS2 version, simply because I love the controller layout, for some reason NCAA on XBOX I always screw up the passing game. Just my opinion.
