Stoping the option
 

Hey guys just got the game and im loving it...as we speak im playing as USC against Arkansas and i am getting smoked by Arkansas option....i cant seem to stop it anyone got any tips? im using SNs sliders BTW.

There's also a blitz package in that 3-3-5 defense that disrupts the option play before it can get started in most cases,I had great success stopping vincent Young and Texas's option in a game online.

I always run the 5-2 against the option. Before the play starts I move my two DE's 5-10 yards down the line of scrimmage to look like this:



O---O-O--O--O
----XXXXXX-----


It kills the option.

SS dogs out of 4-2-5 puts the option to sleep aswell.

would any of you care to elaborate a little more on the specifics of how u run these defenses in terms of what position you control and what assignment you take?
