New feature for next year to add onto the passing game.
I thought about this last night. Since we now have the passing cone and it somewhat makes it harder to pass(i enjoy it though) and you have to focus on where your recievers are. We need something to let us know whats going on in the pocket without shifting our attention. I've never played qb but i'm sure just like everyone else you are aware when someone is around you or getting closer to you without actually looking at them.
Ok let me get to the feature. It should be called "pocket presence." We hear the announcers talk about it all the time. Ea should use the rumble feature and the control should rumble harder as the defender becomes close and the pocket is closing. The better the qb's presence is the sooner the control rumbles. I'm sure this has been said in bigger madden forums but i wanted to get my thoughts out my head. |

That's actually a pretty good idea.

It takes some of the control out of your hands, but if you have auto pass turned off the qb will drop back and avoid the rush a bit on his own if you don't press any direction. You can concentrate on the vision cone and finding an open man.
If you see the camera really moving around, you know your qb is doing a lot of moving inside the pocket and you should take a peak at him and maybe scramble. |

This is one of the best suggestions I've seen in a while. Nice! |

Yeah. People tossed this same idea around over at the espnvideogames.com forums last year. I'm really hoping it finds its way into one of these games sometime soon, 'cuz its really a great idea.

I've heard this idea mentioned for years now. I still wish they would add it. I've been hoping for it since about 2003.
