NCAA '06 vs. Madden '06
 

Ok, so I figured I'd make this thread HERE to begin a discussion.

Now that you've had the chance to play both, what do you like better about each game, and which one do you see yourself playing more.

Personally, in Madden I LOVE the QB vision and precision passing. The ability to shift the O-Line is great as well. I also feel the DB AI is much better. I think they beat NCAA in these areas.

NCAA's atmosphere is def. better. I think their animations and player models come out on top as well. The "struggle for extra yards" animation in NCAA is much needed in Madden. Taunting is done better in NCAA.

I say the graphics, sound, animation, presentation(hfa included) and control(easier and more responsive) to NCAA.

Online, passing, running, special teams(slightly), defense and overall gameplay goes to Madden.

I don't play Madden but when I saw "precision passing" I figured that would make passing TOO easy. What is it like?

I would not say it makes passing too easy but its a nice tool to have to keep the ball away from the defender. So when you throw, you can throw the ball high, low or to the left or right of the receiver depending on where the defender is. I like it.

The idea of vision passing is a great feature. It brings the passing game all together. Making line calls to stop the blitz, calling a hot route to an empty space. I like the whole system. It has it's problems but it is the first year they have tried it.

In NCAA I love the feel and the running game. I am enjoying both games I haven't decided which one I like more, yet.

I think Madden is probably better in terms of realism, but NCAA is way more fun.

i hated madden. had it for 3 days then got rid of it. ncaa is much more fun. madden is the same game svery year.
