Sliders for HFA OFF players.
I have been working on these for several days now.
The stats are fantastic and the games are real nail biters. I created these by watching real college football and recording the game stats. I then would play the game in dynasty mode with HFA off. I would try to play as close to the real team as possible. I played many many games using both the winner and looser. I tweaked these sliders until the outcome and stats were as close to the real games as possible. This is the best set of sliders I've ever created. They are intended for "SIM" players, meaning you attempt to play the game realistically. HFA must be off also as I didn't test these with it on. HFA is basically "Arcade Mode" to me now. Give them a shot. Also, I recommend you use Jukeman's coach sliders with these as teams will then run/pass the correct amount of times per game. If you don't use Jukeman's coach sliders teams will pass the ball too much on you. IMO these sliders coupled with Jukeman's coach settings will give you a great sim experience as long as you play realistically. I only have two house rules I don't use the hail mary plays. I don't hot route to the fly pattern. M00d's HFA OFF SimPlay Sliders. Re: Sliders for HFA OFF players.
Is there really a difference in having HFA off? I just coached the first game of the 2006 season in my Utah dynasty with HFA turned off and won 55-14. They ran all over us but ya know...

Re: Sliders for HFA OFF players.
Just destroyed KSU with Kansas. 38-14. Played a great game. Didn't dominate offensively but defensively I stopped their run, and they just never passed. I used Jukemans settings. On SPT I had a run back, my 4th of the season with Charles Gordon who is a freak!
I am still gonna play with em, but I tweaked a bit. +5 to CPU run blk -10 to HUM AWR I have OKL, so that will be the tester. A 14 point win for Oklahoma sounds right. |

rushing yards did you have against KSU? Ball Park... One other thing I am doing is changing the defensive coach sliders for the CPU. From looking at my own stats I run the ball 65% of the time. So I change the cpu defensive coach slider to 65% run before the game. I fell this is realistic because in real life a coach wouldn't come into a game planing to play 60% pass D against a team that's runs 65% of the time. It definitely makes running the ball harder on me which is my bread and butter. |
Re: Sliders for HFA OFF players.
