Playing SuperStar mode for the first time ever

I'm a half back and my team are the Bills.

Travis Henry is still on the roster, wtf lol. How can I trade him or release him? There's no options for. Do I have to wait til I start my first preseason game for trades and releases, and what not, to be enabled?

Damn. I might have to release Travis Henry, then restart Supermode so it will be accurate lol.
