Do you need HD for Madden Xbox 360 to look next gen?
 

I was was wondering if my 27 inch 1998 Standard Tv will look good on my Xbox 360. I know Hd will improve it, but what I want to know is will it be so much of diffrence that it won't look good on my Tv. The way the interveiwer says what gamers gonna think when they see this game on Hd, kinda worries me. Current gen Madden looks good on my TV and I hope its not a drastic diffrence for the 360.

No.

The graphics won't be as sharp as an HD TV, but most of the features/player models will still look nice.

If you want the full Next gen experience you need a HDTV.. but Even without, will still look better than anything the Xbox could muster..

I used to play xbox on a small 24 inch component style tv, and now switched back up to the oldschool rca cables... It's just a matter of sharpness and "focus".. It doesnt really take away from the game, but it really adds to it. The menu text is sharper. You can see more detail.

ultimately , if you wear glasses like me, its a matter of switching lenses to a lense + or - .25 off your real strength...

You do know that you will be missing out on some content also.

Analog TV and HDTV pull from different files on the disk. No sense in getting an Xbox 360 if you dont have an HDTV since it wont look even close to what HDTV will give you not even half!
