The Gliebermans should have never been allowed to re-enter the league as owners. 2000 season ticket holders isn't going to cut it. So far this off-season, they've lost Ranek and Hudson and haven't signed any FA's.

This is the stuff that annoys me about this league. It always seems to have one or more teams barely surviving. looks like Winnipeg moves back to the East. :spit:

Eh, the CFL has been very stable for the past 5 years or so. I think this is really just a blip on the radar. The league should've moved the franchise to Quebec City or something rather then getting the Gliebermans back into the league.

I'm guessing that family was the same one that owned the old Ottawa Roughriders?

Yep.

Hopefully this mess gets cleared up soon. Most CFL fans thought/still think the CFL is getting close to becoming a 10 team league (an expansion franchise for the Atlantic).

The Gades are in trouble. The paper here says some owners don't want to financially fund a team again like they did with the Ti-Cats.

I would hate to see a lot of the players lose their jobs.

Don't worry AF, if the league is smart they'll beg Eugene Melnyk to own the team.

Looks like the owners didn't even know about how much money they were losing. They wanted to take a run at Flutie......

The Renegades lose money, I see little reason why Eugene would want to get involved.

Unlike when he took over the Sens, Ottawa just isn't a strong football market.
