The Whizzinator to Wizz in the CFL?

http://www.winnipegsun.com/Sports/Fo...56199-sun.html

Just remember no crime or bad behavior is too much for the CFL.

The Bombers took a gamble on Mike Sellers a few years ago and it paid off. The Bombers gave him a 2nd chance at football and Sellers was a productive person on and off the field. He ended up returning to the NFL because of his CFL stint.

A Roberts and Smith backfield would be really dangerous.

Onterrio Smith is another guy with amazing talent, but just can't get his head on straight.

He could tear it up.

Update:

Update: Smith (suspension) has signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League, the TSN.ca reports.
Recommendation: Smith, who was recently released by the Vikings after reportedly being told he won't be reinstated from a drug suspension this season, has a chance to work hard, stay clean and prove that he can still play football. With a career average per carry of 4.9 yards, Smith has proven before that he can play in the NFL. Now it's time for Smith to prove that he can remain clean and be productive at the same time.

Big signing for Winnipeg, he could potentially be an impact player in the CFL. Obviously a ton of talent there and he could use the big field to his advantage. But what are they doing about Charles Roberts, the best back in the league? I guess without much of a passing game the Bombers will be a very run oriented team. It'll be interesting to see how he does.

This could make Ricky think twice about coming up here as well with Smith setting the precedent that NFL players on suspension can think about coming North for a year.

Ricky doesn't have a lot to gain by playing in the CFL while Smith does.
