Zone defense colors: What do they mean?
On defensive plays, I've noticed yellow, blue, and even pink zone bubbles. Do the differences mean anything?
Thanks! |

Re: Zone defense colors: What do they mean?
This must be on 360 because, as far as I recall, there are only 2 colors on current gen. Yellow is a regular old zone and blue is a spy. The zone could be white but that's when the zoner is an IP. That's all I recall seeing in current gen but I've been wrong before.

Re: Zone defense colors: What do they mean?
In Madden, the colors correspond with the type of zone:
light blue = flat purple = curl flat yellow = hook dark blue = deep zone I'm don't know what the colors correspond to in NCAA, but I'll bet it's something similar. |
Re: Zone defense colors: What do they mean?
They're the Madden zone colors. They don't really mean anything, I think they're just a way to tell the difference between them.
Dark Blue: Flats, screens, Outs, drag Yellow: Curl, Outs, Ins, slants Purple: Flag, Out and Up (don't know what it's officially called, we called it "squirril"), Deep Out Light Blue: Post, Go/drive/run down the field, deep flag |
