Southlake Carrol vs. Euless Trinity (HS)
Both teams won the state championship in the largest classification last season.
A crowd of 46,339 came out to watch the Texas high school perennial powers at Texas Stadium, which is believed to be the second-largest to ever watch a high school game ever. Carroll, No. 5 in USA TODAY's Super 25, won its 44th straight game with a 22-21 win over No. 16 Trinity in a thrilling end to the Class 5A second-round playoff game. This what 46,339 looks like for a high school football game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtKMEVRyySs - the famous Euless Trinity Haka dance http://youtube.com/watch?v=Eu5_YBr2Njs - Crowd Shot http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/8869/pano0it7.jpg - pano of the crowd, most of it was still waiting in line to get in. The line to get in was over an hour long at Texas Stadium, it ended up being a badass game. Southlake Carrol scored with 30 seconds left to win 22-21 |
Re: Southlake Carrol vs. Euless Trinity (HS)
I bet their would of been more if it wasn't for the A&M/UT game. If I didn't have to work Friday, I was going to make the drive.
Sad that these two had to play in a 2nd round playoff game and not deeper into the playoffs. |

It's always strange to me when grown men with no affiliation to either of the high schools playing lust after these games and the players.
