how do you put up with a lot of losing
i am looking to start a dynasty with a I-aa school, probably FAMU, or BCC, and I know that the first two to 3 years, if I keep my job will be challenging at best, how do you put up with losing early, without pulling your hair, or the controller?? Any tips will be appreciated

Rack up yards and play great defense.
Then recruit players that will help your program, dont go for all the superstars. Then play those teams that kicked your butt and pound the ball at them! |

Silk, why don't you run a dynasty with two teams. One weak team, and one powerhouse (like Iowa :P). That way you can mix a few "W's" in there.

Re: how do you put up with a lot of losing
I always start with a bad, small-school team (this year it was UL Monroe and I've restarted my dynasty with UL Lafayette).
The way I deal with losing is to always remember that I'm building. Losing games is tough, but it makes recruiting SO much fun. |
Re: how do you put up with a lot of losing
I have to admit, I pretty much act like a 6 year old when it comes to this game. I can't stand losing. Just the other day, I was Mizzou playing against New Mexico. I was turning it over left and right and I got all PO'd and turned the game off. What the heck is wrong with me? I can handle losing in Madden, but for some reason I can't in NCAA. Maybe I just get too into Mizzou games.

I don't think I could handle the losing that comes with a garbage program. I like to take average teams to the top as I would go crazy with a really bad team. I don't want a team less than a B-.

If you're afraid of losing too much but you want to have time to build up the team make sure you turn off Coaching Contracts.
