Figured starting these up seemed to be the thing to do so I'd start up the Patriots' thread.

I'm really excited for this season, a lot more than one's past.

The additions of Thomas, Moss, Stallworth and Welker have me anxious to see this offense on the field. If Brady and his new receivers can click over the summer and pre-season, which is one thing they did not do last season, this offense could be deadly.

I hope the defensive backfield can actually stay healthy for once, although Meriweather will hopefully be a good replacement when Wilson/Harrison go down with injuries.

Now all we need is conformation that Samuel will be a Patriot this season, and hopefully seasons beyond, and I'll be perfectly happy.

Well, the season ends in 2008, so it's the team from 2007-2008.

I just copied all the other threads titles. Minus the staph infection part.

True, it does end in 2008 calendar year, but the NFL only counts it as the year in which the season started.

No biggie and im really just giving you a hard time ( I posted the same thing in like three other threads )

Yeah, well just for that, I really do hope the Niners go 0-16 next year, and give the Pats the #1 overall pick.

I haven't look forward to a season since we got Corey Dillion, Brady NEARLY did it with bad recievers last year, add in our offseason acquisitions, Moss, stallworth, Welker, but all in all our most underrated pickup is Adalius Thomas, boy this guy is made for a team like Patriots, Bellicheck could lick his chops all he wants as we might see this guy play every position on defense a perfect guy for pats defense system. Not only we got playmakers on Offense we will probally have the top run defense in the NFL and a decent pass defense with Asante Samuel, and a healthy Eugene Wilson/Rodney Harrison combo.
