Gilbert Arenas Named Cover Athlete of EA's NBA Live 08

Included are two screenshots, box art and movie clips showing off how happy Arenas is about being selected.

"Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced today that Washington Wizards All-Star Gilbert Arenas will be the cover athlete and spokesman of EA SPORTS™ NBA LIVE 08. This season Arenas displayed tremendous determination to emerge as one of the league’s most dangerous offensive players, rising to No. 3 in league scoring and leading the Wizards into the playoffs for the second straight season. NBA LIVE 08 is in development at EA Canada in Vancouver, BC, and will ship to stores worldwide this fall."

lol thats kinda odd.
coulda sworn i heard arenas talk about how much he loved the 2k series and that live wasn't real ball.

I recall hearing the same thing. Also, isn't it early to be releasing the cover boy for next year's game when the season isn't even over yet?

Vick was a 2K Football head as well.

maybe hes hopin that since he was cursed this year the cover curse will skip him nex year lol that quote about 2k is to funny though
