Dirty Disc Errors
 

I have been getting frequent dirty disk errors on my NCAA Football 08 for 360. I just got a new 360, and it was used (but Microsoft refurbished, so there is no excuse if that is the problem.

Anyways, I have a feeling it's a problem with my NCAA. Is anyone else having problems with this?

What is EBGames return policy? I lost my receipt, but they are still obliged to replace a badly functioning game, right?

Is anyone else having this problem? It's been quite frustrating for me...

I think it is your 360. My last two 360s has the same problem. Got a PS3 and never had freezing issues. MS will be releasing a new model of XBOX 360 that they say is a huge improvement over the current hardware in terms of durability this september.

I'm wondering this as well. I hadn't played my 360 in a few months actually, but it never gave me a single issue before. My first few games of NCAA went ok but last night I had 2 games stopped by DDEs. I think it is probably the 360 rather than the game, but I may take the game back to EB for a new copy just in case, it's much easier than dragging the 360 back to Best Buy.

EB games won't accept any game in return unless you have the receipt.

Actually Im having this same issue with my game. I looked on the disc is it has a blotch of discoloration to it from the inner ring to about half way. Im taking mine back to Fry's and seeing if its the console or the game. I also have a refurb pos 360.

Dont think the issue is the 360 I just bought my 2nd 360 on friday and the first game I fired up was 08 played 2 games before getting the dirty disk error message. My first 360 went down 2 days prior disk tray keeps opening and closing will cost me 100 dollars because it is out of warranty I have not fired up the PS3 version yet because it only runs on 30 FPS and is not supported by 1080p

I had problems with DDE's, but I stopped leaving the disk in the tray overnight and put the game in when I was ready to play again. I haven't had a DDE in about 10 to 12 games now.

My nephews have DDE regularly with NCAA08 but no other game. (360)
