What recruits are out of my league?
 

I have gotten most of my dynasty questions answered, but am still looking for opinions on who I should definitely be recruiting and who is out of my league.

So, if I'm 3 star Syracuse, do I go by last years rules and only go after 4 star players max? Basically, should I go after anyone with interest in my school regardless of their rating or can I actually sway 5 star guys to want to come play for me. And, at what point do you just walk away?

Any thoughts or insights is greatly appreciated

I only have Lindy's Big Ten mag, but assuming Syracuse is on par with Minnesota, for example, they got 0 five-star, 1 four-star, 9 three-star and 12 two-star last year. Michigan State as another example got 0 five-star, 2 four-star, 12 three-star and 7 two-star. Illinois got 2 five-star, 4 four-star, 11 three-star and 3 two-star, but that was considered a freakishly good class for a program of their stature. A monster program like Michigan got 1 five-star, 6 four-star, 12 three-star and 1 two-star, by contrast.

According to Rivals, for the past 3 years, Cuse has gotten:
0 five-star
4 four-star
Bunch of three-star
More two-star

So go for mostly 2-star guys, maybe 6 or so three-star and like one 4-star a year.

You gotta remember Syracuse been *** the last few years. Pure horribleness.

As long as you stay local for the most part, you won't get ridiculous recruiting results. Stick to NY, Penn, CA, DE, CT, MA, and VT, and then go like, 5 national recruits.

If the guy has you in his top 8, go for it. In this game, it's very easy to get anyone, even with lower programs.

Yea in the game, if your in his top eight you might as well go for it. I mean you can try a few that dont have you in their top eight, also might wanna try one or two 5* recruits from your state. Thats usually what I try to do.

thanx a lot guys, I really appreciate it. I'm going to start this today and I plan to post something when my season is done for anyone who is new to this and wants to be as efficient as possible.
