Graphics better last year?
 

Played it the whole day at my friends house on the 360. Gameplay wise, preety impressed. Best Madden in terms of deep balls being covered and no cheese plays. But I find the graphics of last years game looked better than this years. Anyone agree?

Hands down I think the graphics are a lot cleaner and look better this year.

Same, I think the graphics blow away 07, and NCAA.

I think the lighting is brighter but not as good as 07, it seems like the gamma or something also seems like it would be a little up there?

Besides that though I can't really tell a difference, but last year of course would look better, it was 30 fps, and they had to sacrifice some stuff for 60 fps

Yeah I agree. Something looks downgraded. Maybe the stadiums or something.
Actually I kinda prefer NCAA graphics over madden 08. Maybe because Im playing on a SDTV.

They should have kept a few pre-snap cutscenes. I imagined they took last year's out to make it seem less repetitive, but without any of them, the game feels even more repetitive. They should have at least kept the a couple of them, like where the camera zooms in on the linemen from a side view...

i miss drooling over the 07 cut-scenes..

but madden 08 looks better and runs better

Yes, the cut scenes! Pretty disappointed they took those out from NCAA and Madden.

But the graphics this year blow 07 away!
