On the 2K Sports front, the publisher said the label will turn a profit for the first time in fiscal 2009, and addressed the future of its All-Pro Football franchise. Despite sluggish sales, Take-Two intends to ship it again next year, "although we are looking at it carefully." Specifically, the company is looking at different price points and release dates as potential ways to make it more successful than this year's installment. some form of franchise , $49.99 and a month before ncaa release and apf2k9 WILL be a sucess

Hopefully this is true. It wouldn't take that much more for VC to improve 2K8.

-Add a Franchise mode of some type.
-Add another 20 or so Legends to the game.
-Sell it for $49.99.
-Release this game about June 15, 2008.

I could add more to the list, such as some gameplay tweaks, custom options, more freedom to create your own football league and schedules, etc.

The point is, it won't take that much more for 2K Sports to increase sales next year. Just being the FIRST new football game out is a huge plus. There will also be a bigger userbase to sell to next year, as many football gamers have yet to move onto the PS3/360 and so APF 2K8 was NEVER an option for them.

LOL if they only add 20 legends they better all be defense. 10 CB's for sure.
