How many here pick the Wii over the 360 and PS3?

Have you make teh choice to own, if you own only one system, the Wii over the PS3 and 360?

No way, for me anyways.
Either PS3 or 360 as 1 console only system.
Don't get me wrong I like the Wii and own one (As well as 360 and PS3) but it just doesn't have the games for me to have it as a sole console.
Again this if my opinion.

It could be because I'm in my "honeymoon phase" with the Wii (just bought it less than a week ago), but I would keep it over my 360 if I had to choose just one console.

For me, it's just a lot of fun and there seem to be enough games to keep me busy:

Mario Galaxy
Resident Evil
Metroid
MLB Power Pros
Rayman 2
Mario Kart
etc....

I don't have much extra time for gaming anymore, so I don't need 20 games in my library at once really. As well, with a lot of the 360 sports games, I end up spending hours just trying to tweak the game to play well. In the end, the only games I would truly miss are NBA2K8 and Pro Evolution, but not even the latter maybe because the Wii version is looking very cool.

Maybe ask me again in a few months...

Thanks guys and your opinions are just that, your opinions. I appreciate them

I am in the same situation, I don't have hours to tweak a game and my gaming time is at an all time low thanks to spending lots of time with my wife and my 3, 1 year old.

Teh Wii is looking like something my wife too would get into.

In all honesty, if it had a hockey game, I probably wouldn't even be considering switching my PS3 for it.

I wouldn't trade a PS3 or 360 for it. The great thing about the Wii is that it's more affordable unlike the other systems. I have a 360 and Wii. I like my Wii60 combo.

Wii is great if you have a family or friends that visit, regularly. As a single guy, I'll take the 360 over it all day long.

Exactly.

I had the Wii from last spring to August and I grew incredibly bored with it. It seemed like so many of the games were ports with a tacky control scheme added to them. Wii Sports was the best game I played on it. The new SMB and Super Smash Brothers are the only games I was really looking forward to it, but I decided to seel my Wii anyway since they were still going for over retail on eBay. The PS3 and 360 are less novel, but I find them far more enjoyable than the Wii.

I sold my Wii in August, got a PS3 and have no regrets. I got the Wii thinking it would get my wife involved, she liked the bowling but only played it 3 times over a few months.

If the titles for the Wii are really what you want then you’ll be happy with it. For me I really wanted a good sports library, Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy were a factor for me going with the PS3 as well.

I have a 2 year old daughter and she’s just as happy playing rub-a-dub and Motorstorm as she was with the Wii games
