The main improvements I wanted for 09 was more fluid jukes, realistic and fluid transitions for catches/deflections/interceptions, better manual user transitions (the annoying magical glitch when you press the button to change to the nearest defender to the ball and your guy suddenly slows down even when your holding turbo and the ball carrier easily breaks away), and just better action animation in the gameplay. These are the most important improvements to me, gameplay over visuals. I also hope the player speed issues have been addressed, because I could never understand when you would roll a QB like Dennis Dixon out for a run, a 320 lb. defensive tackle would easily run stride for stride with him.
