If only we could get this thing off a handheld and onto Live Arcade or the Virtual Console, it would be sports GOTY, easy. :y220:

A Wii version is supposedly in the works for 2009.

I fired up a game of Tecmo Super Bowl III for the SNES to celebrate.

Final score:

it's going to be AWESOME online as long as people don't edit their teams to have all 100-rated players (which looks like is possible)

I'd definitely rather have this on DS.

True, but as long as you're playing friends it will be OK.

Imagine how in-depth leagues could get with their player rating system.

Just makes me wish that All Pro Football had gone to this degree with its team editor.

I'm actually excited about this game. Didn't think I was going to be until I saw the pics and videos. Wonder if the Wii version will be like.

This is a day one purchase for me. I still play Tecmo Super Bowl and it is easily my favorite game of all time period.
