GamePro.com has posted their preview of Backbreaker.

Was this just to demonstrate the tackling engine or is this the real game, I hope it is not the real game. The different tackles were cool but other than that... meh.

i was expecting something new especially from gamepro...but this is them commenting on the tackle alley vid which is old to us by now.

What's your basis for this claim? We have yet to see so much as a single second of actual 11 on 11 gameplay footage. For all we know, the defensive A.I. in the actual game will be just as laughably bad as it was in tackle alley vid.
