IGN has posted the following Beijing 2008 updates:

  "Having never played the title before, we felt a little like the Jamaican Bobsled team from Cool Runnings – we had a feeling that we could pick up the controls of the title relatively well, but placing on the medal stand might be a bit ambitious for our first time."

With all the track & field events I hope they give us the option to do the decathlon. That would be a pretty fun multi-player event to do online.
