Front Office Football Developer's Corner: How Much Control Is Too Much Control?

Jim Gindin, the sole developer of the Front Office Football line of text-based simulations, has posted his second Developer's Corner issue for the community's response.
"Going back to the question here, how much control is too much? Without more detailed feedback, I'm already passing that point. Every option has some impact on the field, but it's not always clear what impact it has."

I dont think they know how to do this in real life. If they did, there would not be busts and under performing players. I think a simple grading system in key categories per position based on your front office personnel's skill is ideal.

I know that linemen, for example, get graded out after each game. If you keep it simple yet informative, you will get the most knowledge about your player.
