For you Stat junkies...7 min is the way to go.

I've been playing 8 min. quarters in my UAB Dynasty.

Through 8 games, I'm averaging close to 80 plays a game.

The rest of the nation is averaging somewhere between 60-65 plays a game.

I don't really "hurry" in picking plays, so I bumped it down to 7 min and now my plays are back at between 55-70.

Just FYI. I'm a stat junkie and found this to be the most accurate.

The other interesting thing I found...

Obviously, most of our gameplay issues center around a lack of pass rush and QBs that are too accurate.

Well...those are the two most glaring issues in simulated stats so I imagine the simulated stats are based on the AI programming.

Graham Harrell has 30 TDs and 1 pick in 7 games.
Kodi Burns has 23 TDs and 2 picks in 7 games.
Tim Tebow has 19 TDs and 1 pick in 6 games.

12 teams have given up less than 9 sacks through an average of 8 games. That's 12 teams that are only allowing about a sack a ballgame. Clemson, Ball State, etc. It wouldn't be as big of a deal if it weren't for the fact that, for instance, Clemson's O line is pretty weak ratings wise, and Ball State is...well..Ball State.

Also...Many teams Interceptions leaders only have 1 or 2 picks through 6-8 ball games.

I just found that pretty interesting since the simulated stats fall right in line with what many folks feel are AI discrepancies this year.

This depends entirely on how quickly you call plays and if you skip cut scenes while the play clock and game clock are running. I play 9 or 10 minutes and get the same 55-70 plays. The only problem that creeps in is with the cpu quick calls, I dominate T.O.P. nearly every game.

i wish he was that good for me, its more like 34 TD 20 INTs in 9 games. damn WRs can't catch the ball, it bounces off their hands and floats to the DB. :( I want Crabtree back, why did he have to get hurt. :y5:

When Bill Abner posted those stats on his blog a few weeks ago that were all out of whack, it made us wonder "How can the sim engine be so broken" Answer: Its not, its reflecting wide open gameplay, the same gameplay that we have in our played games.

I play 11 minute quarters and average around 138 plays a game between the 2 teams.

I would average 138 per team at 11 minutes.

For my own stats 6 minutes is good, I'm averaging about 120 yrds running and around 300 yrds passing. As far as plays I get around 40-50, but sometimes more because I usually call plays pretty quickly. Most of the time the CPU wins the T.O.P. because they'll throw 20 passes for 5yrd plays and eat up 1/2 the quarter.
