Bill Abner's Review of NCAA '09
 

Bill Abner finally posted his review of NCAA '09 on Crispy Gamer. For people that have been following Abner's impression of '09 on these boards, he's admitted that the game is enjoyable but the bugs/flaws in the game are too glaring to ignore.

I agree with everything he said. It didn't appear he gave the game a score, but I'd say its a dismal 3.5 out of 10. When you put all the glaring issues infront of you, you really have to question how/why? EA let this game out the door.

Well, he 'fried' the game so clearly if the game would have been given a numerical value, it wouldn't have been high.

Everything he said was dead on as well. I'm doing my best to make due with what I bought but it is difficult.

Accurate review. I gave the game an early 6.5, in hopes that a patch would fix some of the issues he listed - But if the game play patch ends up doing little to nothing, I certainly would ''fry it.'' I suppose some people are enjoying the game, but until I can boost the CPU sliders, to where I won't go undefeated every season, I just can't find the enjoyment that others are having. As it stands right now, this is the worst football game I can remember playing - even worse than my previous most hated - Madden 08.

I won't even argue with the score of 3.5

The last Gameday and FBPro99 were tons worse than NCAA09.

It's pretty clear EA doesn't test their games.
