Rule changes I'm not aware of?
 

Did the NCAA implement some sort of rule outlawing players from having hair showing out of the backs of helmets? Dreadlocks have been made illegal? No more Matt Jones style mullets?

Maybe this goes along with the new horse collar tackle rule change?


I've played about 20 games of NCAA with random different teams, & have yet to notice a single player that has "long" hair. I know for a fact this was in some of the previous old gen NCAA's.


I'd have to believe that at least one samoan player on Hawai'i would have some insanely long hair.


And same goes for tattoos; did the NCAA make showing ink illegal now? Players must cover up any ink with arm bands/sleeves?

No rules change. You will still see players with Long hair, dreads, tattoos, etc. (It would be kind of difficult to outlaw tattoos with guys that already have them :)). These are just some of the features yet to make it to next gen, along with mouthpieces, eye black, etc. It is again one of those features that we will have to wonder if it will be in next year, or the next, or the next.....

I totally agree with you that they should be in but be ready for "Joe Blow" to come on here and say "We have gameplay issues like this and you are worried about tattoos!!"
