nope, they are totally different this year. They seem to work pretty good so far. I was worried at first.

Yeah i just got done playing a game with the my iq setting and actually had a great game! the only issues were that the human qb was way to accurate. This year the computer actually runs the ball against you and it is pretty tough to run the ball on both sides, I like these new options and i think this years madden is by far the best yet! Love it!

Don't have the game yet either, are these like a global slider for both human and CPU or just the human?
