glitch or what?

i don't know if this has happened to any of you others but after a while i lose all music and voice overs and this is during the off-season?

I know this may sound really stupid but are you playing your XBOX 360 with it connected to your PC Monitor as well as the Audio running through your computer? I had the sound cut off on me and I was wondering what the heck happened when I realized that my PC had went into standby and my audio runs through my PC's input

Does it come back then after the off season is over? Do other games work? Does regular TV work?

Im new to the boards but I have had the same exact problem. The music cuts out, the screen where the NFL Network display is stays up the whole time with the guys mouth moving but no words or audio, and after a while the game lags then eventually freezes. This happened once yesterday and three times today, with three different teams, and all during the offseason.

im on a ps3 and i just don't get it. my first game i had to quit because it drove me nuts with all the silence and that was pre-season.

but now that i think about it when the game froze on me the first time it happened after the sound went away.

josh can you find out about this? this will seriously take away from the game if this is a glitch that might lead up to freezing.

it happens on the 360 too. I heard the announcer during one game only and tonight it froze on me for the first time

On a PS3 when the sound goes out it is time to quit and reload the last save. Don't continue to play because you may corrupt your most recent save file and have to go further back in save history to revive you career. That is why you should create a series of save files that you rotate through. If the most recent becomes corrupted you don't lose too much time by going back another save file.

Thats what i do ASAP. Have to always have the sound on. The most common time it happens to me is during the offseason when im in the menus for a long time

Actually..It's a power save feature for your TV. Just pause your game then cut your TV off then back on and the sound returns. Any freezes means ou just have bad luck.

I haven't seen this yet but I have had the announcer come on out of nowhere. It happens every now and then. Also, the player chatter on the field will get extremely loud. This also happens every now and then.
