3 Pros & 3 Cons of Madden 2009
 

I like to do something for the Madden Development team since they have taken time out of their lives to post here.

I want to give them a topic that is constructive.
I get tired of seeing pure praise or pure bashing (mainly this).



I'd like each of us too list 3 things we like about the 2009 version and list 3 things we don't like about the 2009.
(BUGS/Glitches not included).
This way it's more centered on the gameplay, franchise, menus, etc.



Mods if you think this is a good idea I'd love to see a topic like this sticked for the Madden Team guys.

This is a good idea. I don't know about making it a sticky though.
Only because we can't have to many stickies.

3 Positives:

1. New tackling system.
2. Passing game.
3. The fact that every game feels different and is challenging.

3 Negatives:

1. Cpu running game needs improved a little.
2. Better atmosphere and presentation.
3. No Sig styles.

likes:
1.the new direction of the running game.
2.graphics
3.playcall screen

dislikes:
(all old problems from previous versions of madden)
1.the constant player clipping(players moving through each other)
2.the suction blocking/tackling/d-line-o-line play
3.players with eyes in back of their heads being out of position and making amazing plays.(qb's too)
4.cpu snapping the ball way too fast/receivers running routes out of bounds.

Can't really comment on this thread since one of the bugs freezes my games and I can't really play it.

pros:

1. tackling engine deff looks realistic
2. my skill.. love it
3. custom celebrations.. nothing like scoring a clutch td late in the game to put your team ahead and doing a celebration the way you want to.. its really a plus
4. chris collinsworth.. ithought i hated him but he is very good
5. highlights

cons:

1. obviously some gameplay issues.. the CPU has poor clock manegement, glitchy tackles DBs with eyes in the back of their head i hate that
2. tom hammond is awful
3. lack of presentation and emontion
