What's the best Madden game ever?
 

I'm sure this has been done to death, so rather than post a poll with 20 options, I'll simply ask: what's the best Madden game ever and why?

Madden 09 - PS2 version

It's the pinnacle of the series, the gameplay is super tight and as far as options are concerned there's nothing missing, unlike next gen. I really have no complaints at this point, I'll be very satisfied if they actually fixed the spawn game merge error for online franchises...I just haven't got to week 7 in my season to find out yet. If that is fixed, I really see no reason to buy another Madden until the Next Gen catches up with last gen in gameplay. And based on my experience with next gen Madden, it's gonna be a long long time before that happens. It may not.

If they patch just a few issues. Robo QB AI, online glitches, and a few franchise bugs then this year next gen has a good shot at being the best ever for me. I think they'll eventually patch the first 2 but Im not holding out for any type of franchise attention.

Right now I would say 05 on the ps2. However, if they can fix the robo qb and a few other minor things, and most importantly add back the cpu sliders then this 09 on the ps3/360 might surpass it.
