Being an amateur coach irl...I was curious where the football knowledge came from for HC.

Did you guys actually have an NFL consultant or anything like that?

Or, are you guys on the team because of your personal football knowledge? I mean I know obviously you are fans but anyway, just wondering where the knowledge base for this game came from if you're allowed to answer that...

Donny Moore had the opportunity to sit down with the majority of the real coaches towards the beginning of the '07-'08 season and interview them on a bunch of things we were thinking about adding to the game, and get insight on what they do day to day.

I was super jealous.

Yes sir, it was a once in a lifetime experience, let me tell you! Sorry Chris! :cool:

I actually got to speak to 30 of the 32 NFL Coaches heading into the 2007 season...No Belichick (not part of Coaches Association) and no Cam Cameron (schedule conflict or something).

We have also gotten a chance to speak with assistant coaches like Greg Olsen of the Bucs, Jim Schwartz of Tennessee Titans, Rex Ryan of Baltimore, quality control coaches from Indianapolis and Jacksonville...and that's just the ones I was involved with, I know the Madden and NCAA guys were in tons more.

We also talked with one NFL General Manager and also some big time player agents. So we try and cover our bases from an NFL authenticity perspective.

Funny too, we filmed all of these coach interviews in hopes of using them as promotion or something, it would be really cool to release them in some form...Let me ping a few people in the video lab and see what we can cook up for the September standalone release....Stay tuned.

On the website (EA's) there are several little snippets by the different coaches about different coaching aspects.

Any way we can see those videos in their entirety?
