Question about Conference championship games.
Played the big 12 championship last night in our OD.
I was OK St 10-2(6-2), played another human Colorado 10-2(6-2) I won, and headed to the fiesta bowl. Colorada dropped all the way to 5th in the big 12 and ended up playing nevada. Our other humans who finished 10-2 (6-2) moved ahead of colorado bc it now showed them as 10-3(6-3) That loss shouldnt hurt their big 12 standing should it? Doesnt the loser of a conference championship game finish 2nd in the conference as far as bowl placement? Is this an error in the game or actually how it works in the NCAA? I dunno? |
Re: Question about Conference championship games.
it depends on who Colorado lost to in conference as to their final standing.

how could they lose the big 12 C G and now be behind the teams he finished ahead of to actually play in the championship game? We had 5/6 users finish 10-2(6-2) Both K State and Kansas are now ahead of him in the north bc they are 6-2 and he is listed as 6-3. |

What he means is if Kansas and Kansas State were the 2 losses they would fall behind them since those teams would have the head to head tiebreaker. |
Re: Question about Conference championship games.
I no in the ACC the conference championship does have an impact on our final conference record. Google it for Big 12.

Re: Question about Conference championship games.
Well it goes by conference record, not overall record.
My Big XII standings: Oklahoma : 9-0 Texas Tech : 6-2 Missouri : 6-2 Colorado : 6-3 (Big XII Title Game runner-up) Kansas : 5-3 |
