Cannot see the width of the field ... 4:3 vs 16:9?

I cannot see my players on the right/left of the field.

I can "turn my head" using the analog stick when I am looking at the play art.

But after I have snapped the ball I cannot see if the outside guys are open.

Is this a wide-screen vs regular-screen issue?

I do not have a fancy TV - just regular for me.

I used to play NCAA05 on PS2 - and I could watch all of my options.

Any way to improve this?

Thanks.

I have a 32" LCD TV that I play on and at the line of scrimmage I cant see my 2 furthest wide outs but as soon as I snap the ball the camera zooms out and I can see everything. I dont know what camera angle you play on but I play with Classic.

Oh, maybe they didnt. I didnt even check. I just considered the default classic sorry.
Even after you snap the ball you cant see your WR's?

Yes - even after the snap.

The field perspective is not wide enough to look at things happening near the sidelines.

If I am a RB and run to the left, the camera will move with me.

But not so for the QB in the pocket.

Also - I am new to NCAA09 (and nextgen) - I am using some AA sliders from this site - the game is hard so far!

Listen to the advice on these boards, man....you'll get used to it. There's a lot of good players on this board. I haven't posted in a while even though I'm a long term member. I read as a guest, and sneak on every now and then. Great site, great sliders, and good people.

Welcome to OS and Next Gen NCAA.

Oh, and on your problem seeing the field, you can help yourself by pretending to audible with a wr....it'll back the camera up and you'll be able to see the CB's responsibility to zone protection of the flats, deep cover 3/4, or on a blitz post snap.

Of course, reading the safeties and backers are imperative; but if you're strictly worried about the corner coverage...try it.

I have the same problem with not being able to see the whole field. I usually have to throw to the slot receivers because I have no idea if the outside ones are open or covered. Sometimes the audible thing works and sometimes it doesn't.

is this an issue for everyone?

or is it just because i do not have a 16:9 wide-screen tv?

i have been considering buying a small lcd tv ...

would that make a difference?
