So how is Madden?
 

May sound like a crazy question but I do not really keep up with the Madden series I have owned probally about 4 Madden games. Well I want to know is it worth buying, I am a little dissapointed in NCAA 09 (too easy, recruiting is messed up, also some attributes seemed messed up, defense is realitvely hard and annoying, offense feels easy, etc..) A big question I have is franchise mode, is it good.. how is the gameplay and overall is it worth buying or did EA drop the ball on Madden as well?

i think its the best madden ever,id recommend renting it first then buy it see what u think of it

no seriously, its ok. IT IS better than last years, but still needs a lot of work seeing it as how it hasn't lived up to the hype of "next-gen" yet. still needs work.

is it worth buying?ummm yes and no,,, , rent it first man, and if you really like it then go buy it. ive been playing madden since 1991 and i give madden 2008 a 7.5 out of 10(retail version) with the patch that just came out last week, i give it a barely 8.0 out of 10 (barely)

Rent it first. That's what I did, and decided to save my money.

Franchise is the same as last year. So if you didn't play last years franchise, it will be okay. But if you did it's the EXACT same and you'll want to throw Madden across the room. If you played NCAA 09, then the gameplay is pretty much the same but a little better. Overall I'd say skip this years.

Disappointing. As it's always been on next-gen consoles.

Either get it for the PS2/Wii or get 2005.
