This looks like it could beat out THPS2 as my favourite Skateboard game.

It was somewhat...I was just so hyped for THPS2 that it sticks out in my mind.

The period that I was at in my life when THPS2 came out made me go ape**** for the game. Being an avid skater and the way the first THPS shook the video game world, I just had too much excitement for the second edition. I thought the ability to create your own skatepark was the greatest idea in the world. But what did I know? I was like 12 when the game came out.

Skate 1 was unreal, if you were able to get off the board then it would have probably been my favorite skateboarding game. The innovation with the right stick alone was way more innovative than anything the THPS series did. They captured skateboarding so well last year it reminded me of the old game Thrasher on Playstation.

Wow, Thrasher that brings back some GREAT memories too.

Yeah, Thrasher was the bomb...it was like a VERY poor man's Skate.
