Based on the article he does not seem nearly as selfish as T.O., he does not cry when every ball is not thrown to him, he's just late for every meeting and does not call in.

Mike & Mike got on my last nerve this morning. Basically, they demonized Plaxico for saying his family came before the Giants. Oh yeah, what a lowlife.

Going from Plax's words, he's using his family to justify bad behavior. It's great that his family comes first, but he follows it up by saying that's nobody's business. This is true if he's talking about the media but he was also talking about his employer and that's a problem. He doesn't feel he didn't do anything wrong by not even notifying his boss that he had to take care of the family problem, and it appears this has been going on for a long time.

That's not true. He said he'd notify the team next time. So he knows he made a mistake in that regard.

He didn't say he was sorry for not notifying the team. He'll notify the team next time b/c he doesn't want to be fined and/or miss another game. On the surface, that's good enough... punishment was effective, but he still doesn't come close to seeing like he gets it.
