First I am asking for your help. If you know if certain players are ONE foot or TWO foot players let me know. This can help me out when created the dunk package edits.
Name: One Foot or Two Foot or Both
I need help with Josh Smith because he is hard to figure out when it comes to dunking. He needs his own package.
Also the rookies, I need help with them
Again this is not meant to be the gospel. I just want peace on earth and player dunking the way they should.
1. Standing dunks.
50 - Can't do it
75 - Can do it; won't really do it in traffic
99 - Basically can do it at will no matter the traffic volume
Are the only numbers that matter. There are some 99's on default but I feel Dwight should be the only one that deserves this since he dunks on whole teams.
2. Dunk Packages
For the most part if a Dunk Package has a person's name on it, I would like to keep that package exclusive to them. Well the wing players with packages named after them. You will see when I explain everything.
Generic
Here you have a mixture of one foot and two foot dunks. Many wing players will receive this package
Basic
This was known as "Weak Sauce" in 2K8. I call this the fat boy package because I want to give it to unathletic players. Zach, Big Baby, Sweetney, etc........
Basic Guard
A new package that I LOVE. Basically all one foot dunks in this package. A lot of wing players will have this one as well
Crawford
Self-explanatory.
Duncan
Self-explanatory. I tend to use this for the big dufus players (Yao and Big Z). The most unathletic dunk package for big men.
Dwight
Since he dunks like a guard, this package can come in handy. Mostly two foot dunks that athletic wings would possibly do. Since I don't believe in the "Flashy Guard" package, many of those players would get this package.
Flashy Guard
NBA Jam. I refuse to give this to anyone.
Iggy
Self-explanatory.
KG
Self-explanatory. The only issue I have with this package is the windmill. KG doesn't windmill anymore. I would rather give Stromile this package than KG.
Kobe
I never liked Kobe's package because of some of the speed of his dunks. But I can tolerate it if only Kobe has it. I won't share it with anyone else
LeBron
Self-explanatory.
Melo
Self-explanatory.
Moon
Self-explanatory.
Nash
Self-explanatory.
Parker
Self-explanatory.
CP3
Self-explanatory.
Power Bigman (aKa Amare)
Self-explanatory.
Rondo
Self-explanatory.
Shaq
Self-explanatory.
VC
Self-explanatory.
Wade
Self-explanatory.
3. Alley Oops
I like the oop system this year. For one, they are realistic. Thanks 2K. Secondly, ANYONE that can dunk can catch an oop. Simple
4. Dunk Ratings
If you player has BELOW a 60, he will not dunk. A 60 will enable a player to dunk. So because of fluctuation in ratings, I suggest putting the lower rated players at 65 so they won't be able to dunk one year and won't be able to dunk the following year. The 5 pts serves as a cushion.
Of course the higher your rating, the more flashy your dunks are from that package. High ratings will be reserved for the flashy IN-GAME dunkers. Someone like Nate Robinson will NOT have a high dunk rating because he practically only dunks when he is on the court alone.
