not to be rude, but everyone claims their sliders are the best and most authentic, lol.

I tried yours for a couple games, and it's no better. It's a lot better than default for sure, but so are all the others. But the CPU still spams layups/backdoors, gobbles offensive rebounds, has an unstoppable PG that penetrates at will, and overall they get 65%-75% of their points in the paint.

Am I the only person that doesn't have this issue with the PG. the key to stopping the pg is staying in front of him, proper positioning and not reaching in for the steal. IMO this is a true representation of playing proper D.
Real ball players know how to blow by their opponents based on their defensive stance. Its hard for a defensive player to cross back over and recover once they commit the reach.
Anyways, The PGs still get by me every once in a while. Id say about 6 to 7 times which IMO is realistic.

When 99% of the people are experiencing it, then it's something with the game, because sliders don't seem to affect it. I turn down ball handling, off. awareness, attack basket, offensive rebounding.....nothing works to slow down the CPU and their spamming of layups/cutters, and on a fast break they always score...they do that stupid bounce pass and they get a speed boost every time too

Maybe Im not really paying attention to this. Again I dont see the excessive penetration by the cpu. Only time he gets by me is when Im out of position or get burned on a reach.
The only slider that Ive increased on shot selection is mid range attempts. the rest of the shot selection sliders are at 50.

did you increase on ball defense?

The cpu does seem to have an advantage on the offensive boards but again its not that excessive.

the cuts to the basket happen a few times during game-play but again IMO it isnt overly excessive.

Ill pay attention more to see if the cpu actually cheeses.
Im playing the PC version and I doubt that there would be that much of a difference from the 360 or PS3.

I think people just need to learn to play defense with their feet. You have heard that before if you have ever watched basketball and now you know what they mean... there is a reason why 2-4 blocks or 2-4 steal per game is considered great, it doesn't happen that much.

The players don't try to steal and block, those opportunities just present themselves and if you are playing good position defense, WITH YOUR FEET, you can take advantage of them. If you are not and the PG is blowing by you, you can expect that to continue till you prove you can stop it.

This is where the mental (intellectual) part of basketball comes in. You need to try a double team, or switch to a zone, or change the defensive assignment. Some guys just can't guard other guys, and some guys can't guard ANYONE (by themselves) and you need to recognize that. All basketball is not played on the court, some is played in your head.

But watch out, if you throw a double team at the PG, it won't be long before he figures out how to beat it... Heed the term "...Mix it up". Play the computer just as you would a live player that is always trying to find the chink in your so called defense.

Play defense like that computer is playing on you, they ain't swiping at every ball ad jumping for every block, they play solid position defense.

That's your problem, not the sliders.
