    Packerfan28 XBOX 360 Sliders

These sliders are based off of Heelfan's sliders so he deserves most of the credit. What I have done different with these sliders is lowered the pass rush slider and the broken tackles slider, and increased the block shedding, interception, and pass block sliders to improve the defensive pass rush for both the computer controlled team and the human controlled team.

These sliders are not final yet, Im still working on the running game because it is fairly easy to run the ball against the computer and the computer still struggles to be effective on the ground.

    Game Rules:

    Quarter Length: 10 min
False start 80, Holding 65, Facemask 65, Clipping 70, every other penalties are 100.

    Game Skill:

    Passing:
    QB Accuracy: 0
    Pass Blocking: 65
WR Catching: 0 (0-10 depends if you hate drops)
    Rushing:
    Broken Tackles: 70
    Run Blocking: 80
Fumbles 85 (75 - 85 depends on what you like)
    Pass Defense:
    Reaction Time: 100
Interceptions: 30 (increase to 40 for more picks)
    Pass Rushing: 20
    Rush Defense:
    Reaction Time: 100
    Block Shedding: 60
    Tackling: 10
    Special Team Settings:
    FG Power: 30
    FG Accuracy: 10
    Punt Power: 45
Punt Accuracy: 60 (55-60) more challenge at 60
    Kickoff Power: 50 (45-50) 45 = start at 30-35 yard line

I also play with Weapons off and with clutch games(rivalry games) off. I may turn on clutch for playoffs but that's about it.

Here are a few test games using these slider settings:

    Packers(me): 41 Texans(cpu): 7
    Total Offense: 389 269
    Rushing Yards: 121 18
    Passing Yards: 268 251
    Turnovers: 1 2
    3rd Down %: 53% 33%
    Penalties: 7-70 7-59
    Possession Time: 24:30 15:29
    Sacks: 2 2

    A. Rodgers: 116.7 - 281 yards - 3TD - 1INT - 69%
    M. Schaub: 75.4 - 255 yards - 1TD - 2INT - 69%

    R. Grant: 101 yards - 25 carries - 1TD - 4.0 average
    S. Slaton: 18 yards - 9 carries - 2.2 average

    Top Tacklers:
    N. Barnett: 10 tackles
    A . Bigby: 10 tackles
Texans had 4 players with 8 tackles.

In this game penalties throughout the game caused the Texans to stall on their drives. Then in the 2nd half I had 2 picks one for a TD. Also Tramon Williams ran a punt for a TD in the 4th quarter.

Hows your sacks coming and I have tried these out for one game and it was a good game. I had 4 sacks and 2 picks but Kyle Orton threw 5 picks I played against the Pack and I don't know if the pass at 0 is too low or Woodson and Harris are just awesome corners? But it was a fun game score was G.B 28-17 Bears. I noticed the Middle Linebackers on both teams are beast with reaction at 100 Urlacher had 16 tackles and it was impossible to move on G.B. Luckly Hester at 4th WR was able to burn his man repeatedly for TDs

I have been trying out packer's sliders this weekend and they are fairly solid for me. pressure is much easier to apply with these settings. I get around the same amount of sacks you are getting; around 4 sacks give or take.

With Heelfans settings I was able to lead the league with over 50 sacks in my franchise although it took a bit of effort on my end since most of the sacks were done manually.

With Packers settings, I am able to play safety more often and still get some pressure.

As far as the picks go, the packers are pretty solid at the corner position. both are over 90 i think. Are you getting picked off from underneath Linebackers? Or are the DBs giving you problems.

If its the linebackers, you might want to make sure they are not in an underneath zone in the area you are passing to because they seem to pluck the ball out of the air no matter how close they are to the line of scrimmage, which can be frustrating at times.

          Re: Packerfan28 XBOX 360 Sliders

Most picks for me come from the safety and cornerback positions. In my franchise Micheal Griffin from the Titans leads the league in picks. For the Packers who I play the most with come from the safety spot. Nick Collins and Atari Bigby both lead the team with 4 I think. Al Harris leads the league in pass deflections though by a good margin. He gets his chance to get picks but mostly just deflects them or drops the ball. I don't think that the interception slider will affect pressure so you can always lower that.

For the middle linebackers they do get a lot of tackles in some games. I think it depends on the team and how the game is played. When I play with the titans Keith Bullick usually leads with 8-12 tackles a game. Playing with the Packers Barnett usually has 8-10 tackles sometimes fewer. However neither of those players are even close to leading the league in tackles. Nick Collins is the closest with 12 tackles behind the leader.

It will depend on how the game goes. When I play against a team that runs a lot my linebackers get a lot more tackles. But when I play a team that passes more such as the Colts or Lions then my safety's get more tackles.

Sacks are random, I had a game with the Steelers where their defensive end Smith had 3 sacks. Then I had a game after that where I had 4 sacks total from 4 different players. I had a game with the Titans where Javon Kearse had 2 sacks and hanyesworth had a sack, then I had a game where the linebackers got all the sacks with 2. Players who get sacks will change from game to game. Most sacks that I get come with the ai is controlling them and not me.

            (CLE) K.Wimbley 8 tackles, 2 sacks
            (TEN) E.King 9 tackles, 1 sack - A. Haynesworth 6 tackles 1 sack
            (TEN) K. Bulliuck 6 tackles
*numerous players with 5 tackles on both teams*

I scored 14 points in the 1st quarter one with the fullback to finish off a good passing drive and another quick one that ended with a 59 yard pass to Brandon Jones. Kyle Vanden Bosch sacked Quinn midway through the 4th quarter to get a saftey to make the score 22 -7.

Here is another game between the Steelers(me) and Ravens(cpu).

              Team Stats:
              Steelers(me): 17 Ravens(cpu): 10

              Total Offense: 174 224
              Rushing: 99 46
              Passing: 75 178
              Total Yards: 311 366
              3rd Down %: 1-8 12% 4-12 33%
              Turnovers: 1 2
              Penalties: 5-40 4-26
              Possession Time: 18:54 21:05
              sacks: 2 4

              Player Stats:

              B. Roethlisberger: 101.1 - 104 yards - 1TD- 64%
              J. Flacco: 74.4 - 186 yards - 1TD - 2INT - 69%

              W. Parker: 81 yards - 18 carries - 4.5 average
              R. Rice: 43 yards - 19 carries - 2.2 average

              (PIT)L. Foote: 8 tackles, R. Clark 8 tackles, J. Farrior 7 tackles
              (BAL)R. Lewis: 7 tackles, H. Ngata 6 tackles 3 sacks

A bunch of players from both teams that have 5 and 6 tackles.

Before my first drive of the game even got started Nate Washington muffed a punt and the Ravens got the ball back and eventually cashed in for 6. I picked off Flacco late in the 1st quarter and ran it back for six. This game was one of my lowest scoring games in points and yards that I have ever had playing madden. The defense was deffenetly the facter in this game.

I played two games with these. I like the results but the rushing seemed to easy. I play QB in superstar mods that may have made a difference.
I had about 180 yards passing
                Magahee(sp?) had 340 rush on 12 attempts. 5 td's.

Just wanted to know if im getting so many rush. yards is because im using Superstar mode or is anyone else getting the same results.

                  Re: Packerfan28 XBOX 360 Sliders

I'm playing in the 2010 season as the Packers.
I decided to give these sliders a try after going 4-4 through the first half of my season, during which I had a huge inability to run the ball. Ryan Grant was averaging just over 3.0 yards per carry.
With these sliders, these numbers drastically improved, probably too much, as Grant started averaging 6.5 yards per carry.
After winning four straight games, all of them blowouts, I went back to Tarheel's sliders and expected to start struggling again, but it didn't happen as Grant continued to get between 5 and 6 yards per tout.

The only real difference was the game's started getting closer. I think I beat the Dolphins 23-10 and the Vikings 28-18.
It'll be interesting to see how there play out through the rest of the season and playoffs.

These look good, Packerfan. I'll probably lower the HUM rushing sliders a bit b/c I find it too easy to run the ball, but anything that will help get more consistent pressure on the QB and make for realistic QB stats, I'm all for trying.

So far, so good. I've played several games with these and think they are a great fit.

In my game yesterday, Giants vs. Browns, I came up with 6 sacks (they only counted 5) with the G-Men; 3 by Osi, and one each by Tuck, Coefield and Kiwanuka.

Only observations I have so far is that the holding penalty slider needs to be decreased, as even on 55 I am seeing a bit too many phantom holding calls. I'm actually thinking of going with the Zero penalty slider scheme from NCAA to see if that works here or not.

Second thing is that it's a little too easy to run the ball, so I've lowered the run blocking a bit and in my last 2 games Jacobs has been averaging just over 4.2 ypc.

These sliders are quite possibly the best I've used for this game.
Stats are pretty realistic, although passing can be a pain sometimes.
Running can be extremely easy if you run it to the outside, you'll usually be able to break a TD run, if no defender is near you when you hit the open field, none of them will ever catch up
