    Stephen Curry

Don't get me wrong, I have a ton of respect for this kid, but I just feel like he is not going to live up to all his hype this year. Last year I thought Davidson's glue guy was Richards (PG, I'm not sure if that was his name) not Curry. Now Curry has who, Lovedale? Anyone else think he will drop off this year?

I personally don't see how he's going to play point guard. That can't be good for them.

      Re: Stephen Curry

He's definitely not a PG. The guy is great without the ball and obviously needs to be the primary scorer. Hopefully after a couple of games Davidson will realize that and insert another PG.

I don't think he'll have a problem living up to the hype, though. Considering he doesn't play in a major conference, his talent and tremendous offensive ability should still stand out against the opponents he'll face.

I can't see him playing the point either. You see his stat line from their first exhibition game against Lenoire-Rhyne? Sure, he scored 41 but he turned the ball over 8 times. That might fly in the SOCON, but it won't work against Duke.

2 words...over rated. hes going to have a sophmore year slump. he had like 3 big games in the tounrey last year whoopy dew. No one new of this guy a year ago. He plays in a small conference against small players thats why hes sought to be so good. I think he will put up decent figures but nothing spetacular...but he could surprise us again.

Dude averaged 26 a game last year, don't confuse him with Joe Alexander.

              1. Considering Davidson played 4 games in the tourney, 3 out of 4 is pretty good.

              2. A majority of college hoops fans knew about him after he dropped 20 per game as a freshman.

              3. He put up the same gaudy numbers when he played top tier teams.

              kthxbye.

WRONG!!!!! First of all, he's A JUNIOR, which means he can't have a SOPHOMORE slump. Many MANY college hoops fans knew who he was. In his freshman season he almost pulled the upset against Maryland in the tournament when he scored 30 points and had MD on the ropes until the last 3 minutes of that game. In his sophomore season Davidson played NC in the second game of the season, he had 24 pts and they only lost by 6 points. Then they played Duke just a few weeks later and the kid had 20 in a nail biter they lost in the last few minutes, and a one point loss to NC state where he had 29. He single handedly beat a VERY GOOD Georgetown team, who had plenty of time to scout him, knowing he was taking every big shot, and yet they could do nothing.<O</O

Curry will be an All-American and will put Davidson on track to become the next Gonzaga. He is the best pure shooter to come along in a long time. He will have a long NBA career as a role player, think John Paxson. He is the real deal, and you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. None. At All.<O</O

Are u serious? Your acting like hes the best player in the nation when hes not. I didnt say he sucked. Hes good but not the best. and you saying he beat GT single-handedly? dude come on. and you saying Davidson is the next GU because of one player? As soon as curry leaves davidson will fall off. They are a top mid-major team but no where near gonzagas status, sorry. I like how ur predicting his nba career already.

From what I saw of Richards, he ran the offense well and made good decisions. It allowed Curry to be the top scorer, so it will be interesting how he handles being a PG. I don't think he should be playing PG though. He's a shooter and a scorer.

Is he the most talented? No. Is he the best College Basketball Player? Very very close. He is a top 5 game changer.

This is your EXACT words. "2 words...over rated. hes going to have a sophmore year slump. he had like 3 big games in the tounrey last year whoopy dew."

You are saying he had 3 games in his career. Your words. That, and not knowing what Year he was proves you know nothing of college basketball.

So that would've made you about -4 years old when you started following it?
