This is pathetic. What kind of game in this day and age doesnt have varying weather, especially when it's in other EA Sports games and even FIFA 09 on the wii. Brutal.

There is weather. It can snow and rain, but only in exhibition matches...

          follow up question
is there a way to change the arena background, or does it randomly change itself?

            Re: weather?

Hmm, i'm sure i've seen rain in both Manager Mode and BAP Seasons mode, not often, maybe once every 20 games or so. I only play in England and Australia and i'm pretty sure there has been rain in both, and i've just started a Serie B season but no rain in 3 games so far. Maybe the league you play in changes the chances of rain?

I haven't seen it snow yet in any mode (including Kick-off), i assume its in the game since they show it off during the FIFA 09 intro...but again maybe it only snows in certain leagues? Like Holland maybe.

Or maybe i'm completely wrong if its been proven there is no rain/snow in other game modes apart from Kick-Off...

are you sure you have seen weather in manager mode? i think people have seen it in BAP, but i have not seen it in manager and i have been playing 3 seasons in EPL. also, no night games any more - though i did have one night game for the ECC cup - but that went away.

                Re: weather?

Is it the case that the recent "patch" has not solved the "random weather in MM" issue? That is disappointing.

I am strictly an offline player - MM is still important to me.

                  Re: weather?

I think it's been mentioned before, but I know it's on the FIFA UK site, if you change the weather to overcast in exhibition matches and back out of the match, and play MM, you will get overcast weather and sometimes mixed precipitation. I've done it and it works. Seems a little silly that that's what a game has to do to get weather in a video game in 2008.

                        Re: weather?

okay, so maybe im an idiot, but i only get day, night, or overcast options for exhibition matches?

so there literally is no way to choose rain/snow specifically?

this is fifa 09????????? I really don't get how games keep going backwards like this.
