    NCAA Slider Discussion

What are some things that need to be tweaked. So far I have noticed:

Too high FG% for both human and cpu
    Too many charges
Defense seems pretty weak for both teams too

Anyone else noticing the above? What else?

I saw a slider called " Charging / Blocking " foul frequency. Is there a way to increase / decrease these individually ?

OFF Rebounding for both CPU and Human need to be tuned up.
Shooting % for both Sides tuned down

Also can anyone make any steals in this game?? Seems the steal motion is off. I press steal and the player goes to steal like 3 secs after I press it. By then, the CPU is running by me for a layup???

I'm playing on toughest level right now with some adjustments. I turned pass interceptions way down as there seemed to be waaaay too many bad passes by CPU IMO.
Also have turned down shot % for close/mid and long for both CPU and human. I'll see what happens as far as fouls now.

yeah, I lowered all the 3 shooting sliders (close, medium and long) too. Can't remember if I lowered them 5 clicks or 10.

i am having problems stealing the ball too.

Can you only change in increments of 5? Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question. I haven't played an EA hoops game in a long time and I am gathering all the information before I rip the wrapping off this sucker.

                  Thanks.

no, you can do them in increments of one. Only problem there is no number so you have to count clicks.

I agree with what's already been mentioned.

                      - More offensive rebounds
                      - More fouls
                      - Lower FG success from all three areas for hum and CPU
                      - I thought there were too many offensive fouls at first but I started pressing square earlier and that seemed to have fixed the problem
                      - Tougher D by both teams

I think the game plays its best on All-American though which is good.

I agree with All-American, this level is the way to go.

I played 20 minute halves and I was UC going against UK. Lost 79-70.

High FG percentage for both teams, need to be toned down.

Increase the foul frequency for both teams; hence, giving both teams more free throws opporunities.

I had 8 steals, which seems fine to me but may be tweaked. UK had 5 I think.

                        Tougher defense too.

                          Re: NCAA Slider Discussion

I'm new to OS but have heard some really great things about the community! I have used 2 sets of sliders for Live and 2k9 and I must say they are great and just what i'm looking for as far as a SIMULATION style of play. My question here is, about how long does it take usually for a complete set of these sliders to come out?

                          Thanks in advance

Played a couple more games last night and with these I was getting shot % for both teams in the 43 - 52 % range.

I also lowered the User pass interception more. Wish there was a CPU pass slider because right now they pass pretty bad. Last game I got 16 steals not even trying too.

Has anybody posted a "test set" in their locker? Does the locker work the same way as Live where you just search by gamertag?
