What Is A Realistic Knicks Roster In 2010?

As a long-suffering Knick fan who can't take the wait anymore, I want to play with a "dream" 2010 line-up that includes the King and Bosh. I'm sure this is nowhere near realistic, but this is my jumping off point. My assumption is that they'd want to surround the core with spot-up shooting PGs and athletic "D'Antoni-esque" bigs. Those of you more knowledgeable than me, what would a realistic James/Bosh Knicks roster in 2010 look like. Mine looks like this:

    PG - Chris Quinn
    SG - Joe Johnson
    SF - Lebron James
    PF - Chris Bosh
    C - David Lee

    Ben - Wilson Chandler
    Ben - Quentin Richardson
    Ben - J.J. Reddick
    Ben - Danillo Galinari
    Ben - Joey Dorsey
    Ben - Melvin Ely

I know this is no good. Let me hear some suggestions.

Personally I think if they go for the big free agents they will get two big time guys but the most realistic outcome seems to be one star and 2 pretty good players that are close to stars.

      C: Chris Bosh
      PF: LeBron James
      SF: Wilson Chandler
      SG: Danilo Gallinari
      PG: Nate Robinson
      Bench
      C: Jared Jeffries
      PF: Al Harrington
      PG: Chris Duhon
      Rest is whoever they drafted.

Lebron is more likely to go to the Nets. Seeing as he has a very close relationship with Jay-Z

I think that NY should move Curry or Jeffreis or both, between now and the end of the season. This will allow them to resign Lee and Nate and realize what I envision as the perfect roster:

              Starting 5:
              PG Duhon (dribbling and assists)
              SG Lebron (allaround production)
SF Chandler (defense and occasional offense)
              PF Bosh (offense and rebounds)
              C Lee (rebounds)
              Bench:
              PG Nate (offense bench spark)
              SG Draft or FA
              SF Gallinari (multidimensional)
              PF Draft or FA
              C Draft or FA
UTL Robertson (really good as a 3erd backup)
UTL Ewing Jr (Public Relations and if lucky, defense)

              P.D.
I can forsee this roster and starting lineup, given the athleticism of all the players, whom actually can play multiple positions and I personally think that with the Lebron move, in particular, he can even become more unstoppable there ... can you imagine ?!!

He's said a million times that he loves the city of New York. He has said that he loves Madison Square Garden and wants to play there more. His shoes are called the Big Apple. And he wants to be a billionaire. What's the biggest market in the country? Cleveland??? No, its NYC. So come on to Manhattan LeBron. We'll be waiting for you.

                    Eh, it's a Shaq situation.

LA did everything to free up cap room to sign him from Orlando. Orlando had been to the Finals and was a great team and Shaq still left for LA.

It just so happened that in the wheeling and dealing to get Shaq, they also managed to get Kobe (via Divac trade).

Knicks/Nets are pushing for the same. I think a big wild card is LeBron would actually be a PF in D'Antoni's system, I think he'd like that as his offensive numbers take a huge spike when he's the PF in Cleveland's smallball lineups. That would probably aid him in his quest to average a triple double, since D'Antoni's pace would create more assists/rebounds not to mention playing the 4 spot would put him in better position for defensive boards.

Nets aren't really a great fit for LeBron anymore honestly. Harris needs the ball to be effecitve and is not a good shooter, two major strikes against him in a LeBron led offense. Lawrence Frank is frankly no Mike D'Antoni either, he's more like a young white Mike Brown who LeBron is probably tired of (just clear out for LeBron gets old after 5 years).

                      Thanks guys.

Looks like I'm gonna add LeBron and Bosh, keep Robinson, Lee, Chandler, Duhon, and Richardson, and than add in a couple of low-cost spot-up shooters (maybe Quinn, Kapono, or Reddick) and a couple of verteran, athletic bigs (Ely or Wilcox).
