Well done, Dean, AJ, and Norv... In just one year you were able to completely undo all the progress Marty had made. Congrats.
Way to go Norv!!!

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

Looks like 3 of the 4 teams in the Conference Championships last season will all be sitting home this January.

Never thought that would be the case before the season. Even after what we went through this offseason.#RespectTheCultureComment

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

I can't believe that the Chargers are this bad- it really makes no sense. Looks like LT's peak years are behind him too. The Chargers wasted some phenomenal seasons from him. It will be hard to replicate the success of LT, Brees, and Gates from a few years back.

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

I wouldn't say that LT's peak years are behind him but it definitely doesn't help that your best player on Offense has an injured toe that's been plaguing him all season and an offensive line that has struggled in run blocking(I'm assuming, bk can probably tell us more about this)makes things better.

I definitely think LT can come back with a LT-like season next year like he's had in year's past.#RespectTheCultureComment

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

Yeah, but I think the Cardinals could beat everyone in the AFC West, and I think the Niners would beat everyone but the Broncos, and even maybe them.

Rams/Seahawks/Raiders/Chiefs are all pretty much interchangeable in my book.

I think injuries play a big part in it. Even healthy they might not have been as good as people thought, but they've been hurt bad.Comment

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

Sad, pathetic, pitiable, wretched, dismal, weak, useless, and feeble. Those 8 words pretty much sum up how the Chargers have played from top to bottom this year. From the Spanos' to the EGOTISTICAL A.J. Smith to Mr. No Emotion Norv Turner to the players themselves. The are a disgrace.Comment

 Remaining schedules

Denver plays: KC, @Carolina, Buffalo, @San Diego
San Diego plays: Oakland, @KC, @Tampa, Denver

Any combination of wins/losses is possible. This 1 legged *** kicking contest is going to the very last gameAaron

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

Looking at that, I can see San Diego winning the division.

Denver beats KC, and loses to Carolina, Buffalo, and the Chargers, Chargers win out and both teams finish at 8-8. Head to head will be 1-1, so it goes to division records. San Diego will have a 5-1 division record, to Denver's 3-3, so San Diego wins the division.

That's not too crazy is it?Comment

I prefer Oakland, San Diego and Denver all ending with a 7-9 recordLooking at that, I can see San Diego winning the division.

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

Diehard chargers fan here, bolts do not deserve playoffs this year.Norv has to go, no doubt! This team needs a coach with passion, and no it doesn't need Marty with his lets have a dominating season and look like the team to beat, and just look happy where in the playoffs show up and hand the game to the other team.AJ screwed up hiring norv,so he better make it up big time.Comment

 Re: Way to go Norv!!!

It's amazing how the decline of LT gets little mention. LT has reached the century mark just twice all season. VS Oak & NO. A combined 39 carries for 211 yds. In those games, he had a 40 yd run. Take those away, he's avg a mere 3.5 per carry. He's had 4 yds per rush in just 4 games. In comparison, the Atlanta game was his 5th under 3yds per carry.

SD fans keep saying he's playing hurt. I believe that's an excuse. He's hit the wall. Only 17 players in history have carried the ball more than he has. If he were not to carry the ball another time this year, he's @ 321 att per season. Among those ahead of him, only Payton, George, Sanders & James have averaged more carries per year.-August 17, 1960Originally posted by VP Richard M.
