I have not done it myself, but others have had success doing it on both PS3 and 360.

I'm not sure if I see the cheese/glitch in this. Sending the TEs on a streak route against an all out safety blitz is not cheese.

In the first pic the safties are clearly set to play zone. Why they would blitz from that, I have no idea. Why they would both run right past a streaking TE (p/a fake or not) is an issue. I know that Ian and these guys say that they watch a lot of football so hopefully this is just one of those weird glitches (I traded Madden two months ago). I do know that safeties that reacted like in the photos would be riding the bench in a H.S. game. "Deep as the deepest" guys....... that is the rule.

This is far from old, I knew about this 2-3 days after the game came out. Gun Snugs can really take advantage of this.

BTW Cover 2 buc, cover 3, and cover 4 negates this. And this is not really a glitch, watch the NFL, this is how teams tear apart the NFL, not to this extreme though. Personally i never open with Cover 2, people look for it, but cover 2 is still a good idea for stopping the short pass.

The defense calls a cover 3, but thru a series of actions, the OFFENSE can exploit a glitch in code, so that any defender playing ZONE, will BLITZ. the blitzes were not called by the defense, they happened due to a GLITCH. Please read more carefully.

I can confirm that this glitch works, just tried it there.

Xbox 360 (PAL)
Practice mode - Bucs Offense v Falcons Defence

I picked a play from singleback ace calles Curl Flats.
I picked a Defensive play called cover 1.

Followed the instructions, both safeties blitzed, even though one was assigned to a HB and the other was assigned to cover deep. All Linebackers blitzed.

I read about this on SG about a week ago, but decided not to post it here in order to prevent it from spreading...

If a patch is worked on for this can we get a man coverage fix in as well? How about toning down that speed burst during a lead pass... Sorry, I couldn't resist

That's why I don't play online. I just started back playing again since release. This game is pretty good. I think reading some the negative opinions hampered my experience.

this glitch will completely tear down online madden mode and EA can't do a thing about it because they've already started working on madden 2010. Although most of you already know the entire joke this game already is, with every person online playing with a combination of RnG playbook and/or game with WR Screen and man defense being a complete travesty.

I saw that glitch 4-5 days after release, it is not new. It has not destroyed online play because it can be stopped. Go to a couple madden strategy Forums and you'll find out how.
