Interested in buying 2k8, a couple questions though

    1. Can I get the rosters for this year into the game?

    2. Is there anyway to get this year's schedule for teams into the game?

Michigan's success in basketball this year has really got me craving a college basketball but is a one year old game really worth it? Or should I get NBA 2K9 instead since I played both demos and thought NBA 2K9 was the better game?

    1) Yes, there are 2K9 rosters available on 2KShare.

    2) No, but you can at least change your schedule.

Its a great game, if you like college basketball I wouldn't hesitate in buying it.

Also how does this game compare to Nba 2k8 gameplay wise? There were some things about 2k8 that I couldn't stand. The court spacing and lack of help defense to free up open shots were my main two gripes with 2k8. Is this game the same in those two areas?

Also do teams actually play like there style in real life? For instance if I play Michigan will they be running the 1-3-1 on defense and cutting alot on offense.

Yes you can, but they aren't finished yet and I'm not sure a good set with everything done will be finished for quite a while.

Kind of. You can edit the non-conference games, but I heard about some limit as to how many you can edit (I haven't tested it myself).

i was able to re-create all of georgetown's schedule, you can only remove a certain amount of games at a time. u have to have 22 games on ure schedule at all times
so i deleted 6, created 4, deleted two others, created two. I have the exact schedule (except in conference you cant change that).

i have rosters... go on 2k share and top 100 files, the run from PAANCAKES have most of the conferences, if not all.

no joke? I think I need to go to Kmart. I have been thinking about buying a used copy for 20 bucks. I am gonna head out right now and see what I can find. Was you copy the PS3 version or what? I am guessing not.
