Have all the major Madden 10 decisions already been made?

When it comes to the big decisions on what features will be included in 10 (such as online franchise, referees, presentation, NFL-style online leagues, web support, etc.), have all of those decisions already been made?

I'm assuming they have since we're nearing the end of 2008.

It will be helpful when something significant like an online franchise mode is officially announced. The sooner the community can get down to helping with the details, the better.

It just feels like we're spinning our wheels lately.

Ian and Phil have stated they might be announcing something about 10 around SB time. I wouldn't expect any announcements before then.

I also don't think everything will be rolled out at once, either. It will probably be given by piece meal.

I would think that the decisions as to what will and what won't be in Madden 2010 have already been made.

^^^ Yep. I think the good thing though is that it's still early enough to be able to at least modify the course, if an idea pops up that they feel strongly can benefit the game.

I would think that the decisions as to what will and what won't be in Madden 2010 have already been made.

You guys are pretty much spot on...the majority of our major features have been decided on, and quite a few are already in the game. I am seriously struggling to contain my excitement to start releasing the info.

Yeah, I can imagine keeping all that in has to be tough... can't wait to hear what's in store for 10. I am confident that next year's Madden is going to be awesome....

I'm anticipating everything on the wishlist! I might as well at this point. Ha.

Seriously, though, it's the sheer extensiveness of the wishlist that made me wonder about the potential for surprises. It feels like we've discussed every possibility imaginable, but now I'm definitely looking forward to a few surprises.

Oh ****, I think we forgot to mention one thing for the wishlist. Ian, can you all bring back create a player? Damn, I hope its not to late. Its currently implemented in NCAA. You guys should bring it back to Madden also, so if need be, we can create players and throw em in the draft line up.

I think there is a create a player. Unfortunately, I don't think you can put him in the draft line up though.
