I play on almost those sliders. I play on all 0s and still shut down cpu running game, Pretty much hopeless to get a good game. Those sliders look to be a little to easy to run the ball, but its whatever your skill level is. They look good though, but again the cpu, can't run flat out. I may go back to the cpu profile sliders, w/ some tweaking it was the only way the computer could run.

Agree 100% DB56. It's either too easy or too hard. No balance whatsoever. I'm going to try these sliders out and post my results. It is for this reason that I have been playing the PS2 version. The CPU gives me a balanced challenge and good game. Graphics aside, the gameplay is pretty solid. It really is a shame that it is Christmas time and some gamers are still looking for playable sliders. That really says a lot about this game.

                Weapons off.
                select hardcore in settings

you can decrease pass rush and react time in rushing if you want more difficult.

Re: xbox 360 SLIDERS NEAR OF PERFECTION(i think)

So I tried these sliders in week 3 of my 49ers franchise after rushing for 200+ yards and the PC under 30 in both games. I had mixed results. I really like the way to game ended as in a 24-14 loss for me.

The game was Vs the Detroit Lions which is where i nit-pick as I think I should've been able to beat them. Also D.Orlovsky was UNSTOPPABLE in the pass-game despite his INT's. I was able to run decently, and so was the CPU which surprised me.

I think I threw way to many INT's, the game would've been different, a couple were just my mistake like bombing it to Bruce with 20 secs left in the 2nd qtr to try and get in FG range and Bodden just rips it out of the air. I decided to take out Shaun Hill and put in O'Sullivan after a 4 of 8 for 0 td's 3 int's first half like what most likely would've been done in real life. But I still think it was a few too many. Anyway here's what the stats look like. Due to being down and utter Time of Possession domination by Det since Orlovsky was so roboQB'ish Frank Gore was essentially taken out of the game. I might've been able to cut it to 21-24 as I was driving at the end but after V.Davis caught the ball at the 50 on a pass he was leveled by Dwight Smith and got hurt, since he was injured he fumbled the ball away and Detroit recovered and ran the clock out as only 40 seconds were left.

I played another game w/ a little tweaking vs NO at NO. It went pretty well.

I was up 14-0 then they scored 24 unanswered points, before I hit a field goal, It was 31-17 at the start of the 4th and I made a stupid decision to have Hill throw his 3rd interception (wish it wasn't 100% if you make 1 tiny mistake it's a pick though) NO went right down and scored taking the game out of my hands.

Game ended 44-17 New Orleans after my 49ers went up 14-0 in the first four drives of the game. Here are the stats

                      Ints - Young 1, Gay 1 , Harper 1

So this game was a little different. The outcome is what I expected, the Saints to dominate, but didn't expect the early 14-0 49er lead and how absymally we'd play the rest of the game. Gore was good.

I think Bush might've been a little TOO good on the running, take away his 61 yd td run and he has 16 att for 109 yds, still a 6.85 or so avg. Brees was 73%, would've liked at least 70% or below.

I was unable to get any sacks this game after 2 last game, but NO still got their share with 5. They also had 3 int's again, with only 1 really being a huge mistake decision on my part.

Re: xbox 360 SLIDERS NEAR OF PERFECTION(i think)

So I edited them a little and here are my results. Also keep in mind this is using the latest roster updates, so it's when the 49ers were in their 2nd half of the season form.

This game was at home, in SF so I think it rationalizes it but it was against the Patriots. Essentially the defense was gameplanning for Frank Gore so instead SF was throwing left and right with Shaun Hill. Gore only had 3 carries in the first half of the game.

I have to admit on the 2nd 49er drive of the game on 3rd and long I threw the ball and it was caught by the receiver and he was past the 1st down marker, got hit moved foward and hit again and tackled and it came up as 4th and inches when he obviously was past, the option to challenge wasn't available. So since i felt this was more of a glitch than a call it justified me attempting a fake punt run to the FB S.Ryan who got the first down, which eventually led on that drive to the games first score.

It was 3rd and 4 and I completed a short pass to I.Bruce but a clipping penalty brought it back, so it was 3rd and 8. On that play Hill hit Vernon Davis for about 12, and Sanders went flying trying to make the tackle missing, nobody was behind Davis and he went 60 yds for the TD. I eventually got the ball back and kicked a FG. The Patriots marched down and scored on a pass from Matt Cassell to Wes Welker for about 8 yards.

The defense held my niners until Hill threw and interception and it was returned to SF's 5 yard line. My niners pulled a great defensive stand on 3 consecutive run attempts by the Patriots and they only got up to the 2 yard line and surprisingly went for the FG to tie it up 10-10 on 4th. In the 3rd quarter on a 49er drive I managed to catch the Patriots when they called a Cornerback Blitz, and tossed on a quick slant to Josh Morgan. Morgan was a couple steps ahead of the saftey that came up to cover him and therefore as soon as he caught it just beelined straight upwards to the endzone, nobody there 66 yard touchdown 17-10. The Patriots eventually drove and hit another fg about 1 minute into the 4th quarter after being stopped around the 6 yard line.

The following drive my 49ers did a great job of eating up the clock running and catching them off guard with the odd playaction pass for quick completions to keep time ticking. Eventually it was 1st and goal at the 3 after the 2 minute warning and NE was using up their TO's, since there was essentially no more field Gore basically collapsed forward for the TD. On the final drive of the game the Pats drove to about the 10-20 yard line before running out of time. So essentially I beat them 17-13, as the last touchdown was garbage and I only got it since I had no more field to eat up the clock. I think things went pretty well.

Well this game was pretty good imo, in what essentially was a 17-13 win. Hill just got some good reads on 2 breakout touchdowns for 60+ yards thx to exploited defensive schemes. A CB blitz left Morgan wide open, and a complete miss-tackle by Sanders left Davis wide open. Gostkowski shouldn't have missed the 30 some yard FG imo when I saw it I was surprised. Clements did a good job of containing Randy Moss once the Pats got into 49er territory as he was a beast on 3rd downs.

The only problem I had with this game was the lack of pressure on the quarterback, but then again it's NE's offensive line. I struggled to get much penetration and was never even close to getting a sack on the day. The sole sack by Roosevelt Colvin was because I was still stuck in the playaction animation and by the time the option to throw away came up he was riding Hill to the ground, so i'm going to see about dropping pass protection a tiny bit.

Young2Rice...what are the tweaks that you made to the sliders? It looks like you have been getting some pretty good games.

to get pressure ,use manual blitzes.
                            use defensive ends or linebackers.
the linebackers are too efective in play actions.

I have played two games with these so far and they feel pretty good. Nice work Pooh.
