Re: Latest Roster set???
What system? I downloaded a PS3 roster update and it has played well. I noticed some guys on the Cubs were in wrong positions, but not a big deal. -

Re: Latest Roster set???
Can someone please try to make a roster for the begining of the 2009 season for mlb 2k8 on xbox 360. I need it because I don't want to buy a new game and I know plenty of other people need it too. It would be a great help. ThanksComment

Re: Latest Roster set???
This cracks me up...
You are fully capable of doing it on your own.
Why don't you download the latest roster 2K put out, sim through the first season, and then trade players who are on their old teams.
Mike Jacobs to KC
Mark Derosa to CLE
JJ Putz to NYM
etc.
Depending on who become FA's once they sign to a team, trade them to the team they should be on. Like if CC re-signs w/ MIL, trade him to the NYY for a prospect; and if you want to make it fair give them a good prospect as the draft compensation they would've received.
You can trade players from CPU to CPU. All you do is go to a team's roster, click on a player, and select trade to another team.
It could take you an hour or two, but how bout being proactive rather than just waiting for somebody to give you a roster.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Latest Roster set???
Why should I have to update my roster if I have xbox live. 2k should continue to update as they did last season. My nba 2k8 updates by itself without doing anything. If I have xbox live I should at least get new rosters. So don't talk. You can go buy a new game every year but i don't think its fairComment

Re: Latest Roster set???
Just go to MLB.com, then click on "players" then click
"transactions".It will tell you who signed where, who was traded, who was released,etc...
That's where I went to update my 2k8 roster.I'm about 95% done with fully updating it.But all that work will most likely have been for nothing, because I think 2k9 will be better than 2k8.Last edited by HK-47; 02-08-2009, 04:39 PM.Comment
